Samantha Sirimanne Hyde was born in Sri Lanka and now lives in the unceded land of the Wallumedegal people in NSW. She holds an M.A. in Creative Writing, and has published free verse, short fiction and a novel, The Lyrebird’s Cry. Her work in Japanese genre poetic forms has appeared in many publications.
