This is the is the second in a series of poetry writing workshops for all who wish to share a writing experience and hone their writing skills. Poet, Steve Smart, will lead ‘Ekphrastic’, a workshop which uses artwork as a stimulus for poetry writing.
This workshop is a great way to expand poetic vision, find new ideas and avenues for creative work, kick writer’s block but most importantly provide time and space for those new to the art of poetry writing a chance to experience the enthusiasm of other like minded people.
If you still want more poetry after the workshop go on over to the Commercial Hotel, 115 Queen Street, Warragul, to experience ‘Poetry Bauhaus’ where professional writers and novices share their poetry in reading to an audience. This commences at 2.30pm.
