‘Arts Assist – A Helping Hand’ small grants program The Arts Alliance has set aside funds for the ‘Arts Assist – A Helping Hand’ small grants program
Small grants are for a maximum of $500.
The money requested must be for something needed to further your Arts practice.
For example: you might need printing done to advertise yourself, workshops you are running, books you are promoting etc.
Maybe a little help is needed to pay public liability insurance, to enable you move forward. You might want to do a workshop but can’t afford it and this grant could help to pay the cost. There are always materials that are needed, maybe it’s to cover a travel cost – to name but a few reasons.
- This is a members helping members grant. All applicants will need to be a current member of Arts Alliance and have held this membership for at least 1 year.
Applications will be considered at our Committee of Management (COM) meetings which are held on the second Tuesday of each month. Applications will need to be submitted by the Friday before the COM Meetings. Applicants will be notified during the week following the COM meeting.
What must you agree to do if we grant you an ‘Arts Assist’ Grant
We will want to publish an article about you in our newsletter so our members and friends can read about our Arts Assist Grant and who and what it is being used for.
You will need to supply:
Photo of yourself.
Photo of what you have used the grant for if possible.
A short article of how the grant has helped you and your arts practice or we can arrange for one of our members to sit and talk with you to create an article if that would be helpful for you.
