Sue Crees

I am a relatively new artist of 7 years. Initially I started in water colour then acrylic and then pastel. I love them all so have no favourites and do not yet have a set style.

Although I have not had any formal training I have recently been guided by a great local artist, Julie Gray Wickham, who has enabled me to get inspiration from life, animals and colour. She has also assisted me in developing a process which is visualising an image then deciding on the best medium for this image. I have a favourite piece of my Art that is a watercolour of my beautiful dog.

Because I am an emerging Artist the most memorable moment in my world of painting was selling my first piece and then I topped this by receiving an award for best emerging artist. 

While I find all periods of art have something that grabs me I have have also delved into the world of bonsai lately. I think there may be people who know me would be surprised that I can create art. 

Because Arts is new to me I see myself still expanding my mediums and exploring different styles.
