Jeannie Haughton began writing puppetry scripts, then studied writing, completing the Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing. She continues to write for theatre, with many produced plays under her belt. Writing short stories, non-fiction pieces and long form poetry, Jeannie also loves the challenges of tanka. She works and lives on Kurnai country – West Gippsland, Victoria.
