Jonathan Cant is a Sydney-based writer, poet and musician. He won the 2023 Banjo Paterson Writing Awards for Contemporary Poetry, was shortlisted in the 2025 Gwen Harwood Poetry Prize, and longlisted for the 2023 Fish Poetry Prize. His poems have appeared in Cordite, Island, Verandah, fourW, Live Encounters and Otoliths.
