Samantha Sirimanne Hyde was born in Sri Lanka and now lives in the unceded land of the Wallumedegal people in NSW. She holds an M.A. in Creative Writing, and has published free verse, short fiction and a novel, ‘The Lyrebird’s Cry.’ Her Japanese genre poetic forms appear in many publications.
