Online entries only
will be accepted
All artwork must be
the original, unaided and recent work of the artist. Copies of other works will
be rejected.
All adult entries
must be for sale. Youth entries – sale optional. (Youth
sections: Under 14; 14-18 years)
Up to six 2D Art
and/or six Photographic entries may be submitted.

Mini Portraits size 8” x 8”/20cm x 20cm. incl. frame. Any medium, no photographs.
Please write title,
medium, location, price, artist or photographer’s name, age (if under 19) on
the back of each work.
Work must be on
durable material and framed ready to hang with picture wire or filament cord.
Flat ‘D’ rings only, NO SCREW EYES, NO STAPLED CORD. Smooth edged stretched
canvas accepted without frames. Exhibits not suitably presented will not be
hung and the entry fee will not be refunded.
Photography entries
may be of any type of photographic media and must be the original work of the
entrant. Prints may be mounted or matted or be framed with wire for hanging.
Stand up frames not acceptable.
Any damage to, or
loss of any work, howsoever and whenever occurring and whether whilst in
transit, on display, in storage or otherwise, shall be the sole responsibility
of the entrant. The Tanjil Valley Art Show committee will take every care with
entries but does not accept any responsibility for any such loss and advises
entrants to insure their work against any such damage or loss.
A receipt will be
issued to each entrant. This receipt (or other ID) must be presented to collect
unsold entries.
Independent judges
will judge all entries according to the topic and their
decision is final. Each entry can only win one prize with the exception of the
People’s Choice Award, the Michael Dempsey Memorial Packers’ Prize, Zoe
Buckingham and Iain McLean Awards.
Entries that do not fit
the topic will not be hung. Previous entries will not be accepted.
Entrants
shall pay 20% commission of the sale price of any sale as a result of the show
to the Tanjil Valley Art Show.
All entries MUST be
received by Friday 22nd May 2026. Late entries will not be
catalogued.
All entered work
must be delivered to the Hill End Community Centre on Sunday 31st May
from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Collection of sold and unsold work- Monday 8th June 4
p.m.- 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday 9th June
9 a.m.-11 a.m.
Photographs of
artwork may be used for publicity purposes.
