Jaya Penelope is a poet and oral storyteller who lives in Walyalup/Fremantle, Western Australia on Whadjuk Noongar land. Her poetry has been shortlisted for The Heroines Women’s Writing Prize and The KSP Poetry Competition and published in various journals.
