Wayne Pollard has been writing poetry for 25 years. Leading a group called Demented Echidnas (in West Gippsland), he has published a zine called Thoughts of a tired mind. Having won an open mike competition at Drouin’s Ficifolia Poetry Night, he ran reading sessions in that town for five years, giving local poets opportunities. Wayne’s own work ranges from environmental, to spiritual, to surrealist.
